Hi friend!

In this yarn-filled studio, I value kindness in everything I do.

This includes everyone I talk to, from our talented designers to our friendly customers, because you know what? It’s β€œcool” to be kind.

My number one mission is to provide you with the best knitting experience possible, and I so appreciate you being patient with me while I was away visiting my Dad last week.

Kindness never goes out of style and neither does good yarn!

Today, I wanted to pop in and let you know that I am back, mailing orders, answering emails and bringing you some knitting cheer 🧢✨

Nectar Scarf 🌸

Each year when this peach tree pops into blossom, I can't help but pull out my beautiful Nectar Scarf!

This simple project is knit on the bias – which just means you increase at one edge and decrease at the other shifting the stripes into this cool slant.

It really is that easy!

I designed the Nectar Scarf yarn kits with the color wheel in mind, of course!

Take this original sample which is made with Cotton Candy and Saffron with a pretty pop of Brushed Silver. These three colors work together because red and yellow sit next to each other on the color wheel. We make the red a lighter tint of pink and it's still harmonious. Keeping the lighter value, we also add a light gray which works tonally with the pink and gives contrast to the weightier yellow/orange. πŸ’—πŸ§‘πŸ©Ά

Find more great color combinations like Pink Peppermint which uses split complements. The Berry sits across the color wheel from green but to make it a little more special I selected Teal, a blue/green. Then for brightness and pop I added a tint of green with the Soft Sage. 🩷🩱🌿

It's times like this when it's hard to be a one-woman-show, but coming home to so many nice messages has been very nice 😊
